Context Sensitive Way finding Design
Second year University project.
The level images are an overview, which will allow visitors to know what is on what level. The signifier that would be distributed around the building would be context sensitive, showing only what is accessible in that direction. Hierarchy is given with sizing to state that other levels are accessible from that direction. A directional arrow would confirm the relevant pathways. The concentric circles would be colour coded to show what is accessible, and context sensitive to the area. Room indicators for the various courses are shaped and coloured to match the map given out to visitors. In situ photographs are mock ups.
